This series of works by Magali Ávila evokes an inner, emotional landscape, like a chaotic and bipolar garden, sometimes barren and sometimes full of life. The constant analogy between life and death, reflected in wax textures and the vibrant use of colors, once again confronts us with the tension between figuration and abstraction, where dreamlike and real elements merge and deconstruct. This leads us to a joyful, natural space, full of life, emerging from the depths of the soul to reflect a metamorphosis, symbolizing changes both in the intimate emotional realm and in the mind of the observer.
