Travesia Transversal (A Crossing Journey)

Shown at LA 303 Gallery, La Aurora, in San Miguel de Allende, "Travesia Transversal" represented Magali's first major work after the 2017 earthquake in Mexico city. 

These pieces depict a “crossing journey”: one which attempts to go against the current, not with it - a complicated process. Metaphorically, this is someone who refuses to follow a marked route, but rather seeks to make a new one.  In the physical world, this can be impossible, but on a creative plane, where imaginary spaces are generated, everything is possible.
